Location: Nr Rooley Lane, Bradford

Client: Stainforth Construction

Project Value: £550k

On Site Programme: 10 Weeks

Project Description: Birkbeck Structures was brought in to provide the full turnkey solution for the extension of an existing distribution warehouse. Our team supplied the design, supply and install of an additional portal frame span to increase the capacity of the existing warehouse at P&B Foods.

This project posed a unique challenge for our team – integrating the new build into the existing structure while maintaining full operation of the existing warehouse.

The new portal frame span was 29m and the total length of new build was 180m with a maximum height of 14.5m. Within the new build, there as an additional 2 storey plant and production structure which was integrated into the portal frame.

Birkbeck Structures successfully completed this project with minimal disruption to warehouse operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and a high-quality portal frame.
