Andrew Final

Technical Director

Andrew Walker

Andrew is the Head of Design and Research and Development, undertaking the coordination and execution of design process on contracts, as well as ideation and performance testing of design solutions, notably fire and acoustics testing.

Andrew was previously involved with the design and development of steel structures at PAW Structures; during his time here, PAW Structures (which would become Sigmat) developed the Sigmat LGSF system.

Andrew left PAW Structures to begin Birkbeck Structures, in which time Birkbeck Structures has taken a leading role in developing a hybrid building system that combines LSGF and traditional steel structures.

James Final

Commercial Director

James Walker

James Walker is Commercial Director at Birkbeck Structures, and is responsible for the tendering of new projects alongside the commercial functions of ongoing projects.

James offers a wealth of experience and knowledge garnered from having worked across the globe within the structural engineering industry. Prior to his role at Birkbeck Structures, James was involved in the expansion of PAW Structures, now known as Sigmat.
